The project involved the revitalisation of more than half of the existing buildings on the site, transforming the plain and compartmented learning spaces into flexible learning hubs, capable of facilitating a 21st century learning pedagogy. 

The new learning areas have been created in a larger open plan cluster with a large open plan collaborative space linking the clusters internally, and opening out onto a new open plan library space.
